Apollonia Sierra

Welcome to Tensegrity Wellness by Bodyology, where we use the ancient art of acupuncture and other traditional Chinese medicine practices to improve your health and well-being. My (Apollonia Sierra) passion for this field began several years ago when I received treatment from a skilled acupuncturist in Los Angeles, and it forever changed my life. Since then, I have dedicated myself to helping others achieve the same level of healing by offering a range of services designed to address a variety of conditions.

I acquired my Bachelor's degree in Integrative Health at Arizona State University earning Summa Cum Laude. I obtained my Master's degree in Oriental Medicine at the Virginia University of Integrative Medicine. During this time, I was an intern for two years with some of the best and most world-renowned acupuncturists.

I specialize in acupuncture and Chinese herbology, offering a unique blend of traditional techniques and modern knowledge to provide you with the utmost care. With a deep enthusiasm for holistic healing, I am dedicated to restoring energy and balancing your body and mind. I want to educate my patients in a way that is easily digestible and thought-provoking. Prevention is key, diet is pivotal, and changing the dynamic in how we love ourselves is everything.

My name is Olivia, and I grew up combing the beach for shark eggs and shells in Newport, Rhode Island. Bodywork runs in my family, so when I felt at a crossroads as a very young adult, I was compelled by the hands-on and beautifully personal nature of massage therapy. I studied in the frosty White Mountains of North Conway, NH where I fell in love with mountains, massage, and many complementary practices along the way. I am eternally grateful for the incredible clients and even more fascinating injuries and conditions that allowed me to learn about how bodies move, break, heal, cope, thrive and repeat, first hand. My expertise in kinesiology, manual manipulation, and integrated natural health modalities gives me a deeper look into the body's healing process.

My passion for my clients lies in the results of a more fulfilling and pain-free life, so I often pair my massage treatments with methods including acupressure, energy work, acoustic therapy, manual lymphatic drainage, IASTM tools, and electro/microcurrent stimulation.

I now duo-practice as a LMT/Natural Health Consultant after studying at the Stratford Career Institute so as to better assist my clients on their path towards wellness with resources, connection to networks of practitioners, referrals, education, more insightful evaluations, and goal-oriented treatment plans. Wherever you are in your journey, I meet you there and work alongside you towards your best version of "ME".

Catherine White

Hi, My name is Catherine White (Cat) I have been practicing as a Certified Licensed Massage Therapist in VA for 3.5 years. I offer custom massage based around the individual needs of each client. I incorporate various techniques including: Breath work, Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point, myofascial release, stretch therapy, reflexology, and hot stone massage, based on what is right for you and the goals you'd like to achieve.
I believe in the benefits of relaxation and the therapeutic value of massage for helping to restore and maintain balance and wellbeing in the body and to the mind, and spirit.
I enjoy educating my clients about the techniques I'm using, the benefits, and reasons for each technique application. I find that when we can understand the how's and why's of our health and wellbeing activities we are more likely to be motivated and involved in active healing. I'm always open to answering questions within my scope of practice, learning and also sharing information in the context of health, and wellbeing.
